Was at the show today and had my picture taken holding the card. In a slab and security around. It's currently up for auction and will eventually sell for $10 million maybe more. It's going to be the highest price ever paid for a sports collectable. The current record is Honus Wagner T-206 which sold for $6.6 million. The Mantle is currently at $5.3 million with almost 1 month left on the bidding. The card was owned by Mr Mint who sold to a collector for $50,000 in 1990. Most people feel this is best 1952 Topps Mantle in existence. It is simply flawless. It has not been on the market for 32 years. There are only a few Mantle's that are graded this high. They almost never become available. I guess there is always a risk that someone might clean out an attic and find a better one.
